Mind Robotics, a startup of Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, has appointed Doug Field as president, The Verge reports, calling it a major coup for the secretive project.
Field was a vice president of special projects at Apple, where he was the de facto head of the company's unsuccessful Project Titan effort to make an autonomous electric car.
