MIND Security raised 72 million dollars in a Series B round, bringing its total funding to 112 million, as companies look for better ways to stop sensitive information leaking through AI tools. The investment reflects a specific new worry: staff pasting confidential data into AI assistants, where it can be logged, stored or exposed.
As AI tools spread through workplaces, the security question has shifted from keeping attackers out to controlling what employees inadvertently send out.
What it means: adopting AI tools creates a new leak path that did not exist before, and it is drawing real money to fix. Any business rolling out AI assistants should decide, early, what data may and may not be typed into them, before it becomes a problem to clean up.
