The primary draw for regulated enterprises is Azure AI Foundry's compliance posture. The Competitive Landscape
AWS Bedrock and Google Vertex AI are the primary competitors. AWS Bedrock reports similar customer growth trajectory but has not announced a comparable milestone. Google Vertex AI is strong among Google Workspace customers. Microsoft's advantage derives from Teams and M365 integration — organizations already using Microsoft productivity tools face lower switching costs to Azure AI.
