Every piece of AI content from Google's Gemini models carries a hidden SynthID label, which makes it very difficult to pass off as authentic, Ars Technica reports. Checking for the invisible watermarks has been convoluted.
Google has announced that its improved SynthID detector is now available globally and now supports more watermark checks.
