California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed SB 947, nicknamed the "No Robo Bosses Act", which protects workers from certain AI-powered decision-makers, ZDNet reports.
A survey by MyPerfectResume found that 73 percent of 1,000 HR professionals use AI to make hiring decisions, and 51 percent use it to flag "risky" candidates.
