Researchers from ETH Zurich turned an off-the-shelf robotic hand into a completely self-contained robot that walks on its fingertips while using the same fingers to manipulate its surroundings, IEEE Spectrum reports.
The work questions the idea that a robot hand must sit at the end of an arm.
